Absorb

The initial stage of any office project starts with understanding your company and its culture, your people, your products and services and your plans for long term growth. We get involved with you and key members of your team to understand how your business operates. We look with you at the key functions and plan how to use the space optimally to ensure your business operates efficiently and productively.

Design & Drawings

The second phase is the design process and we are passionate about this. Good design is key in an office environment. Good design ensures that the people who will use the space day in, day out work happily and productively. Your workspace environment should reflect the culture and personality of your business. The absorption stage of our process ensures that we understand you and your business and can express your values through good design.

Our office design team creates space-efficient layouts from initial sketches, then 3D renders through to finalised CAD drawings. We carry out comprehensive site surveys ready for accurate installation and seek all necessary council approvals for the design.

All design is CAD documented, with full working drawings with details and sections, specifications and scopes of work. We provide drawings for tender, building consent, construction and "As Builts".

Good communication is vital: we work closely with you and your key team leaders throughout the project to ensure that the design and budget are not compromised and the building programme proceeds smoothly.

Building Consent

This is where Spaceworks shines, we add real value to any project that requires a building consent. Quite simply, we are nags! We follow up all our consent lodgements every 2−3 days making sure any enquiries are addressed as soon as they occur. We pride ourselves on the prompt delivery of our consents - let us take away the pain!

Construction & Management

We have a wealth of experience in construction, and cost and project management. We pride ourselves in delivering a quality product that is on time and on budget. We achieve the highest standards and are used to working with very short deadlines. We have relationships with a variety of contractors and can tender the project to ensure you achieve the most competitive and cost-effective solution. As our client, you will benefit from the expertise and relationships we have with our partners. Our office team covers all aspects of an office fit-out from planning and building regulation application, through to project, cost and site management.

We also assist with the logistic planning of "move-in day". We complete furniture inventories and implementation plans to ensure this stressful day goes smoothly. We also have partnerships with a number of moving companies so we can help to ensure that your move is made with minimal disruption.
