Squirrel was the little guy taking on the big boys in mortgage broking. Their brand is young, fresh and embracing. We were tasked with creating a new office for their team and the space needed to be a fun, vibrant working environment that reflected the relaxed, easy-going Kiwi lifestyle.

Not so much a challenge, more of a privilege but we custom-designed all their work spaces. The result is a natural timber finish with routed detailing to surround the booth and with an upholstered interior panel of quilted Blazer in soft grey. They look sublime. We also designed a beautiful bespoke staff kitchen for the office which became the hang out/social zone for employees to relax, re-energise and socialize.

Walking into the Squirrel offices you are transported to a modern, contemporary bach-y space. It’s professional but at the same time feels homely. Just what you need when talking about a potentially stressful and personal subject, like mortgages. Plenty of meeting room and areas are dotted throughout the space for confidential meetings and seriously fetching bespoke work pods were created for the staff.Most of all the space embodies and encapsulates everything Squirrel.
